What kind of cleaning products do you use?
Using effective products is critical to receiving good results. For this reason, we have invested considerable time in seeking out and testing a wide variety of eco-friendly cleaning products. We rotate products based on the job. Below is a list of our favorites:

What will you do the first time?
On the first visit we will give your home a deep cleaning, which includes a standard cleaning, plus all detailed elements. Thereafter, if you select on-going service, we will give your home a standard cleaning, but also pick different deep-clean elements and rotate them in order to maintain that deep clean.
What are your rates?
We charge a flat rate for standard and deep cleaning services.*

Deep Cleaning
The first cleaning is charged at the rate of $32.00/hr.
Do I need to provide a vacuum and products?
We will bring our own cleaning products and equipment. The only exception to this is laundry supplies. If the client wants laundry done, they must provide all the products necessary. All equipment is thoroughly cleaned after each use. If there are specific cleaning solutions that a client requests, we will look into their contents and discusses them with the client. In all likelihood, we will have a product that mirrors the client's, but is nontoxic and fits the green approach.
Do I have to be present? What about my key?
It's up to the client. Most people prefer to come home to a clean house and are not present while we clean. The most convenient option is generally to entrust us with a key. This option ensures that there's not an incident where the client leaves in a hurry one day and forgets to leave the key stashed under the mat. But, there are definitely clients who are more comfortable leaving a key every time or letting us in before leaving for work. It's all decided by what makes the client most comfortable. If the client decides to entrust us with a key, it is kept at the office and neither name nor address are noted on it. If Best Little Helper ever loses a key, we will pay a locksmith to re-key the effected locks.
How far in advance do I need to call to get on the schedule?
A general rule of thumb is a week's notice, but we tell clients to not hesitate to call last minute. We can often squeeze them in.
How do I pay?
You can pay by check or cash. All checks should be made out to "Best Little Helper". Payments made by cash should be placed in an envelope with name and amount printed on the front. On the day of service we will leave you with an invoice stating date and amount paid for cleaning.
